TIN reveals to his father that CHING and FUNG are swindlers and wonders why YEUNG does not dismiss CHING. YEUNG has to make good use of CHING indeed. FUNG resigns as teacher and TIN claims that the charity school needs FUNG and asks her to stay. When TIN softens his heart and forgives FUNG, CHING brings out the proofs that FUNG is a courtesan in Hong Kong.
