SUT is a shrew and her husband YUNG is a hen-pecked man. NGAU frames and tricks YUNG. YUNG is forced to sign an IOU. To pay the debt, SUT urges YUNG to go to the mountain and get the White Snake. YUNG hurts the snake and releases YI, who is a bat demon. WAN asks SANG to bring SUT a necklace so that SUT can be protected. WAN hopes that the YEUNGs' descendant can be found as he can kill YI. YI claims that he is a hero who has killed the snake. He is respected by the others. HAI and FU, who are also demons, follow YI. LING is discontented with YUNG who is so coward. NGAU gets YUNG's spear. SANG asks NGAU to kill the demon with YUNG's spear. NGAU is frightened and returns the spear to YUNG. SANG uses stones to pay the debt for YUNG.
