The study programme is completed, all of them return to Hong Kong to develop their career. But their future does not happen as they expect and things have been changed during their absence. KIT suffers a redundant and becomes a warehouse supervisor. At first, he guesses that it is SHAN, who takes revenge on him. But later, he realises he has misunderstood SHAN because SHAN is a victim also. Meanwhile, JOYCE anticipates developing her career in Hollywood; however, in the press conference, the film producer announces MAN to be the leading role of the forthcoming film instead. JOYCE is stunned. On the other hand, BALL is upset when he discovers that GIN is dating a young man. He drinks heavily in order to wipe away his sorrow.
