Ron Dyens
In 1999, Ron Dyens became the manager of the cinema l'Archipel Paris Ciné (2 auditoriums). Meanwhile he founded Sacrebleu Productions, a film production company. About fifty short films have been produced since then and have been selected in more than one thousand national and international festivals. Sacrebleu Production received prestigious honours such as: Palme d'Or in Cannes in 2010 for "Barking Island", the Cesar for the best short animated film "Sunday Lunch" (2016) the Procirep Awards of the best short films producer in Clermont Ferrand in 2010 and of the best Animation TV producer in 2013, a nomination to the Academy Awards 2011 for "Madagascar, A Journey Diary", two Annecy crystal awards for Tram & Man on the Chair... Moreover, two animated short films have been selected for Cannes 2014 at the Semaine de la critique and the Quinzaine des réalisateurs, one at the official Competition in 2015 and one at the Semaine de la Critique in 2016. Sacrebleu completed the production of the series "Faces from places" in 2013, a collection of 20 animated journey diaries co-produced with Arte. Sacrebleu produced in 2010 a feature documentary film "Free radicals, a history of experimental cinema", released in France (Niz) and in the United States (Kino Lorber). In 2016, the animation feature film Long Way North, directed by Rémi Chayé, was released in a dozen of countries. It received the Audience Award in Annecy in 2015. 250 000 spectators have seen the film in theaters in France. Sacrebleu Productions produces Rémi Chayé's new film, and also have other feature films projects in development. Alongside his production activity, Ron Dyens directed five short films, which were selected in more than three hundred festivals as in Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Brest...
