CHUNG and Madam CHOI, wife of LAU BIU, have come to see BEI. Madam CHOI has called for a tax increase, and HON LEUNG believes that she is actually trying to force BEI out of Xinye. HON LEUNG urges SHUN to provide a solution as soon as possible. SHUN has no choice but to ask KUEN to help research Madam CHOI’s background. LEUNG discovers that Madam CHOI has been deploying extra troops in secret. Not wanting her conspiracy to be uncovered, Madam CHOI finally gives in. HON LEUNG has a pint with FEI, during which he means to speak ill of LEUNG.
